How do you summarize a legend? Vegas was everything. She was gentle, loyal, affectionate, smart, beautiful, athletic. She came into our lives as a Christmas puppy, and turned my life upside down with a deep love for the breed, the love of dog sports, and the bond of training. She never met a stranger. She was willing and biddable about everything. And she was fit and strong for 12 1/4 years. She is the heart behind Trifecta Great Danes. If it wasn’t for her, there would be no GaGa, and there would be Trifecta.

I could share a thousand Vegas stories. She went hiking with us. She went snowshoeing, camping, and biking. She loved the beach and to frolic in the waves. She enjoyed many springtime seasons at the ball park visiting with the kids and being there for her boys. The things we were introduced to and tried over the years….

Above all, she was my heart and soul and the dog that was there through more life challenges than I can adequately account for. She was perfection in a dog’s body. Not a day goes by that she isn’t in my thoughts, my heart, and I’m not thankful for every moment she and I shared. Never was there a more loyal and devoted companion. I owe it all to her.
